Molly was first discovered in the middle of a snowstorm on a November afternoon, she would not come anywhere near a human being and would dart from yard to yard and then into the woods. She would only be seen for a few short minutes each day. No one could see her long enough to identify her. Most of the neighbors thought that she may have been part coyote since there are so many around the area.  Deer season came and went and there was no sign of her for approximately a week or so and we felt that she may have been a hunters dog and would go home with the hunter at night. Until one morning, after a heavy snowfall, on my way to work I noticed a black hump in the middle of the road and as I got closer noticed it was her. The entire ground was covered and all I could think was she was hit by a car. As I got closer she got up and slowly walked over to the side of the road and under where she had been laying was a wet spot in the road in which warm water would seep up through from an underground spring and keep the ice and snow from freezing. I then started calling her Molly. This sighting of her for just a few minutes each day went on for about three months, my wife made up a dog house and put food out for her every night but it would still be there in the morning. Until I was walking through our backyard which overlooks a ravine and saw here lying right up close to a tree where she had dug out a hole and was keeping warm. The next night I called Her name and I heard a bark from a distance in the woods.  And to our surprise she came running up into the yard. After a 5 pound bag of bones and a lot of patience she jumped on me and started licking my face. Need I say more as you can plainly see

she has found her forever home and will always be our faithful companion. We could have never asked for a more well behaved loyal friend as we have in her.
